8/10/2011 5:43 PM - Been a few days since I've updated anything on
the blog. A few nights ago I thought about the large black space that I
have on my home page.
The space would be the perfect home for my Logo, but there's only one
problem... I don't have a logo. Time to fire up Photoshop and see what I
can come up with.
5:47 - Okay, I remember a tutorial from Tutcast on Youtube about how to create a gold looking effect using layer styles. Although I don't really like the color of gold, at least not for a logo, I bet that I may be able to use the same effects with some different colors and achieve some sort of metal like effect. I'll get on that.
6:10 - Just finished the outer ring of the design and I'm quite pleased with it for the time being. Okay now onto the text inside. Looks like I'll need a text size around 400 and The letter's I'm putting inside, an A, 0, 1, 4.
6:14 - Looking at it now I'm probably going to use a font around 600 px for the A and 350px for the numbers.
6:20 - Finished, Saving the file and uploading to yola now.
